Metroid Fans: How Would You Feel About A Metroid U+3DS (3D+2D Platformer) Double Holiday Release in 2016? (Think Prime+Fusion)

I doubt a Metroid U will ge made for a 2015 release (though i love to be wrong) but can expect a 3ds metroid Title. Nintendo has stated/hinted/trolled they are making the games for both systems (I think).

How would you all feel for a Nov simultaneous release as Nintendo's big Holiday Games? With interactions with each other as well? Metroid Prme+Fusion did something like this and was released same day!

For Reference Holiday Titles (the big ones obviously!)

2013: SM3DW+LoZ ALBW

2014: SSBU+ORAS

2015: LoZ U+??? (my guess for LoZ U)

2016: Metroid+Metroid

I dont mnd it if Metroid 3ds came out next year and see maybe this instead?

2015: LoZ U+Metroid 3DS

2016: Metroid U + SM3DL2 (N3DS Exclusive)

I could definitely go for that! Though I really do wish one of them comes out next year (most likely the 3DS one if we see one in 2015).

I don't care for which system or how they release it. I just want another Metroid. And I want to hear from it soon even if it will take a long time until its release. Just....Metroid....please.....

Trust in Retro, no matter what they'll make it will be a great game. I do hope it's in 3D this time though. I like 2D games, but two in a row is enough! And also not Diddy Kong Racing... Anything else is A-OK! 

I have a prediction but since i made this thread i'll wait to post a thread for it. I Think Metroid 3ds could be a full fledge 3D game that plays like the prime games exclusively for N3DS.

Seems like the extra power would be needed and would make a great Nov 2015 title, with N3ds releasing (hopefully) Q1 of next year with a Xenoblade bundle :0

That would suck as I'm not buying a N3DS... Just give us a 2D Metroid on the 3DS and a Prime game on the Wii U. But yeah, knowing Nintendo they could do it the other way around... 

A FPS Metroid AND a 2D Metroid?

That being said I want the 2D metroid to be sprites and not semi 3d.

I would LOVE this. It would give the 3DS a jewel in its 2015 crown and help solidify the Wii U's 2016 lineup as not faltering from 2015. A brilliant, HD Metroid Prime-style game on the Wii U could be on the scale of Zelda. I'm not kidding. I think it could be that important to its library.
