I find it absolutely fascinating that people that would generally be very fast on pointing out Sonys poor financial situation, now seriously call them arrogant for not jumping the gun and cutting the price of the PS4 to react to a temporary X1 price cut. I don't know, I'd call that business sense.

You don't just make decision like that in the heat of the moment. Also it's not like the PS4 did poorly or anything, this November is already better than all but one November the PS3 ever had.

You are moving the posts here. What people were caring about was that sony was winning every single month, regardless of the efforts MS was making. Now, people don't care if MS wins ONE month, cause sony has won enough months in this year to afford them not having to win one or two months in the year. Very different things here.

MS did everything they could do cause they were in a losing position all year round. Why should you expect the company that has been winning to be equally as aggressive? What is theer to gain?  Seriously, what does sony have to gain when they are still in the lead in NA?

Why are they arrogant again? Nobody slashes their product's price and give games for free in the first year if the situation is favorable.The true is,MS is desperate trying to stay relevant on VG market.Their brand is the weaker of the three WW and USA/UK are the only places where they can fight against sony.

Plus even if Sony loose USA for MS it will not be 2:1 like 360/PS3 which already is an amazing market increase for Playstation.If PS3 proved something is that Sony doesn't need USA to outsell Xbox.

I think that many a Xbox fan are trying to come up with a sound argument that the PS4 is done in the US and UK (globally in the United States of Great Britian if you will) I mean he did put emphisis on that ARROGANT.

Your one flawed assumption is that Sony thought they would win November NPD. Do you have evidence for this? Sony may have revised its internal forecast for November when it learnt of MS's November plan and decided not to take similar measures. They may have thought it would be closer but I doubt they would have thought to win.

As an early adopter, I am actually happy that there are more people becoming Xboners at the currrent cheap price. It just goes to show that M$ didn't need a year head start to compete and more awesome games will be coming to my TV box!
