I don't like the sound of this. We all know how the last deal with Nintendo and Sony ended up 25 years ago. A Mario movie wouldn't sound bad at all. Sony and Nintendo make money out of it, we get to see a way better movie than the other one. Everybody wins!

Except this time Nintendo will release the "New Playstation U" after the deal inevitably fails and become even bigger than Sony's Playstation.

Sweet. Hopefully the Ratchet and Clank movie next year is awesome as well. Maybe Sony Pictures can carve out a niche with animated videogame adaptions. Don't forget Nintendo also licensed Donkey Kong out to use in an Adam Sandler movie. Though that one will probably suck because it is an Adam Sandler movie.

I will only accept a Mario Bros movie if Sony uses the 2 guys in this video I'm linking and if they rap battle throughout the whole movie all the enemies in the saga and Sony characters!

So, Avi Arad, the producer trying to make this film, is kind of a mixed bag: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0032696/?ref_=nv_sr_1

He's done the original X-men and Spider-Man trilogies and Iron Man 1, but also X-men origins: wolverine, Ghost Rider (1 AND 2), the new Spider-Man movies and Elektra.... I'm not confident this is the right guy to make a Mario movie...

I think the producer is just the money man for this example. It comes down to the writer and director. (EDGAR WRIGHT plz)
