Forums - Microsoft Discussion - XBox One Has The Biggest Second November In History?

Just trying to verify this (NPD USA sales only), I have

XBox One (Nov. 14) - 1.2 million

Wii (Nov. 07) - 981k

PS2 - (Nov. 01) - 920k

PS4 - (Nov. 14) 840k approx.

XBox 360 - (Nov. 06) 511k

XBox - (Nov. 02) 470k

GameCube - (Nov. 02) 440k

Wii U - (Nov. 13) 220k

Most of the numbers I got from here:

Is there any site that has N64/PSOne/Dreamcast sales or even SNES/Genesis?

The industry is dying my ass.

Imagine what kind of sales could be reached, or what kind of records could be set if one competitor (maybe somebody new?) could nail everything flawlessly from prelaunch to the end of a gen.

That thread has the X360 at over 2m in Nov 2008...surely that's not right

In America, the largest second month in America, ok?

And they had to cut the price of their console very early on to achieve this.

Worldwide the Xbox One still lost to the PS4 by over 400k, in spite of price cut and big releases/bundles.

This is the Game of Thrones

Where you either win

or you DIE

in the history of what second novembers

Interesting. I think the highest November ever was the Wii in 2008 or 09, and then the 360 in 2011.

Not as much as Sony dropped the PS3 and that didnt do the same thing.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

In the USA. and here, they are giving away like 2 new release games, advertising down our throats, and dropped the price ridiculously low. and the still BARELY beat the PS4 in the USA. World Wide is the One lost by a very large margin and it will go back to that in the USA come January once parents stop buying the X One because it's the cheapest next gen option. (excluding Wii U).

Barely beat PS4? 400k is the largest NPD gap yet between the two. It seems you're seriously downplaying.
