People would buy it in a heart beat,no one would skip out on their xbox or playstation gaming over a controller,thats a fact lol

Another improved dualshock is what I want for PS5, but maybe a small screen, Vita-like controller w/ dualshock buttons, sticks, and triggers wouldn't be too bad.

I wouldn't buy them. I can't stand that Wii U gamepad personally.

I would cope with it. Has someone singled out the controller as the reason for not bying a WiiU? It's just one of the many reasons.

They already have gamepads this gen...

oh you mean if they'll shove a massive screen on them, well I bought a wiiu so i'd probably still buy a ps5 if it had a screen in it's controller.... aslong as they didn't cost $100 each and everyone had to use one for local multiplayer.

It won't so I won't have to worry about it,but if it did I would just use the DS5 and put that crappy tablet controller int he closet.

I would buy it. WiiU's problem is not it's controller, it's the company behind it. When you get a Nintendo console you know you're gonna have mainly platformers and very little third party games and that's just not the taste of the majority of gamers.

I'd buy them and I'd jump for joy. The Gamepad is awesome.  I've actually bought the Wii U version of certain games simply because of the Pad.

You do know that gamepad is a generic term and that every console in the history of consoles had a gamepad(except the awful ones with abominations like joysticks)?
You might want to use the term tablet controller to avoid confusion.

Unlikely, they would have to sacrifice better hardware for a useless item that can be remedied by the millions and millions of ipads, tablets, etc out there now, to keep it in a price range that will sell.

And I would be fully against it. I use the pro controller on my wiiu every time possible.

I would not buy at launch like the rest either.
