and give it to who? the series has seen it's best days. Bungie have moved on and the glory days are over. 


Bungie's last game wasn't exactly great.

Also, expectations are much higher today than 2001 - 2007.

It seems to me 343 had little to do with Halo:MCC. Two different studios were handling the ports. Ultimately, MS is blame for rushing the product.

A lot of fans often complain about the successor of a great game. People complained about Halo 2, Halo 3, ODST, and Reach as well.

I recall complaints about Uncharted 3 and Killzone 3 being a step back but I'd argue those were the best games in those series.

Again, you often listen to forum dwellers when they tell you what you want to hear.

Well you took that response more personally than I expected.

I'm not derailing anything. I'm giving an example of fans being disappointed by the successor in an IP isn't limited to Halo. So that argument against Halo 4 doesn't hold water.

You said a lot of people didn't like Halo 4 because you read comments. You formed an opinion on Sunset Overdrive based on comments on the internet. Sorry, but that's a weak argument. There are many opinoins on the internet and you only focus on comments you want to agree with.

I don't expect you to listen to me because I'm not telling you what you want to hear.
