xbox took US last gen,why is everyone going crazy like it is a miracle,it will be more level this gen from what i can see, miles better for playstation in the US gen 7 to gen 8

Its still going to be dominated by Playstation. MS had to pull out all the stops just to catch up not to Sony's year, but their month. They barely made it. MS is going to be forced to drop the price of the Xbox One to $350 to stay competitive.

Hmm, you lose one week that's heavily leaned towards Microsoft for sales anyway and all of sudden you lose the whole gen in the region...makes sense?

They're grasping at straws. As You said...one month equals the gen to them. Sony is going to get back America if that price goes back to $399 come Janurary third.

Can we let the holidays play out first? And see what happens in January? Then we'll have a lot better picture then we do now.

I guess its better not to get so overwhelmed right now. Post holidays the numbers would matter.

This.

Microsoft already throw everything they have, Sony haven't made a move since 8 gen started, only thing they have done so far was the GTA bundlie which was quite effective for a week. Very curious to see Sony next move.

So can you also admit the only reason why the ps4 is ahead is because of price, since that is what you are saying about XB1.

Yes and no. At price parity PS4 wins (as we saw when Xb one was at $399). So price isn't the only reason PS4 was selling more. Whereas price is the ONLY reason Xb one can sell more. And arguably even at a $50 price difference Xb one may not be able to eventually take the lead. $329+2 games is a helluva compelling offer. It weill be very interesting to see what happens if come January the only Xb one sku that sells for $350 is one that has no bundled games. It is more than possible that a $50 price advantage alone can;t secure XB one a consistent sales advantage.

If MS keeps the a $50 price advantage WITH bundled games then yes I think it can be the highest selling console in USA. If the $50 price advantage does not include bundled games then I'm not so sure.

I think there's supposed to be a "homies" in there somewhere. "Home skillet" is also acceptable.

I'm really irritated by this "just because they can afford it" excuse for Microsoft's victory. At the end of the day Microsoft is a business like any other and they have the primary goal of making money, they aren't going to just aim for victory to please their fanboys, they will aim to make money regardless, so i doubt they will never let price parity be achieved, and i doubt they will outsell ps4 in the US ever
