Okay i like my ps4 the only thing i've been missing so far are games - i know there are a lot, but it seems like everybody's waiting for the games of 2015 (bloodborne, the order, uncharted, no man's sky ....)
I had high hopes for : KZSF, Destiny, Driveclub, Knack, InFamous 2nd... But after the first Review for KZSF dropped, i became really careful, cos i have so much less time to spend than last Gen, so for this Next Gen i really wanting to pick the really great Games out of the Pulp. So since release, i haven't bought a single game from PS+, Knack was a Release Bundle Game for me and after InFamous was so disappointing for me i thought Bungie would save me, well you all know the story!
I think PS4 had a great, wonderful Year in Sales, but a awful one if you take a look a the Games and Apps.
I don't really know what you guys from the US have on the Dashboard, but over here i have Youtube, an Headset companion App, VidZone and Netflix, which will start broadcasting in 2015 and that's it!!!!
So i find myself more often on 360 than i ever thought this could possibly happen!!!!
The last week i went to my buddy's house ( he's an old Xbox faithful from scratch) and guess what, he had the NHL, NBA, NFL, Amazon instant Movie apps and plenty of apps and stuff.
Yeah i know it should be called Games console and the focus should be on Games, but i must lie to you if am not a bit jealous at the moment.
His collection of Games was nothing to cheer about, but i guess Ryse looked pretty much fun and Forza is working flawless.
As said before, i am pretty much happy with the specs my Destiny looks slightly better than his on the X0, this i can confirm without too much side by side comparison vids in slow motion. I am really happy with the Dualshock and i don't miss the Power Brick at all.
But if the content remains so thin, and after removal of the Kinect forced on you, i see myself go out for Xmas and get one of those ugly "Xbones". Which was something i really didn't want to go back to.

No offense, but you seem pretty ill-informed on just about everything. Just because you can't figure out basic features doesn't mean their negatives.

With that said I feel bad for you that you have made such an expense purchase on something that you really are not enjoying at the moment. You really should have done your research to see if the console had games for you to play instead of jumping onto the hype wagon. In hindsight you really only have yourself to blame.

Also advising people to wait years and years to purchase a PS4 is just silly. Not everyone has the same tastes as you. I mean I purchased the PS2 for smackdown! Know your role. How many people can you say that about? You should not assume because you dont like something everyone else should't like it aswell.

I see you mentioned the Wii-U. I do not own a Wii-U and I do not regret my decision not to purchase one but I ait going to go around telling everyone how crap the console is just because it doesnt fit my tastes. Tastes are subjective, remember that.

Calling a product crap that people have spent loads of hard earned money on is going to ruffle a few feathers. I am sure you can understand why.

Maybe the fact that people reporting and not having the thread locked or the user warned, moderated or banned made they think there was no point in reporting and just attacked the poster, not that I agree with the attack, but it could be a reason for it.

Yep imaginedvl I wouldn't guess why you agree with him and think his points are sound, well explained and factual.

Yet the PS4 is the best console on the market in terms of games released and upcoming. X1 has media, but barely. Just fix the blamming msg system though! I mean seriously, this is the only thing I have problems with and it should be a simple fix...
