It's going to be amazing ,but I don't see how it's going to be like an Elder Scrolls game at all. Just because it's an open world and you have a sword?



Actually it can be argued that Shadow of the Colossus copied Zelda. Since the Ocarina of Time games, bosses have a certain element of puzzle in their fights. More than a boss fight, they are puzzles.

The colossus in the SOC game where essentially, puzzles! So yeah, take that!

Agreed. People saying this is ripping off either Skyrim of SoC has no idea what those games ripped off of.

What did The Elder Scrolls series rip off? Other WRPG's in 1994? Much like OoT, or Doom it was one of a kind and mechanics-defining during its  original release. 

 

@OP Anyway, I can see the similarities with SoTC in terms of landscape, mechanics , and atmosphere, but like others have said that is because SOTC was preceded in these areas by the original LoZ. It has nothing to do with Nintendo copying Team ICO  and everything to do with Nintendo returning the series to its roots.

What bugs me is, that horses are not cars and the people complaining about it need to think about that. If a person was driving a car, they would have complete control over the car. But when they are riding a horse, they can only guide the horse. Horses are seperate creatures, and as such, the player cannot control both at the same time. It would be really weird to suddenly be in control of the horse. The horse is not a tool or weapon. It is supposed to have a mind and I think Nintendo handled this well.
