Is it free cause it has Micro-transactions up the ass or what?

Lucadian Chronicles — from Dark Roast Entertainment — is a virtual card game that's coming to the Wii U eShop in North America on 11th December. The studio moved to issue some clarifications when its official listing appeared on the Nintendo website with a price of $0.00; its tweets have confirmed that it'll be a free download with limited content and an unlock of $7.99, though gave assurances that there'll be no microtransactions.
The base game is free. With the base game you can only draft a limited number of times per day and the single player campaign is shortened.
There is a one-time unlock for the full single-player and unlimited drafting. it is $7.99 US and Canadian. (Canada get a discount!)
There are no micro-transactions and no plans to patch them in later.

So the game is basically a demo? I don't see why they didn't release a demo and a full version for money separate. I'll give them props though for giving Canada a discount, it's nice to get a little love from devs.

Don't waste time with Tank Tank Tank. It's false advertising. You get like 30 second play then it asks you to buy the game to continue playing..
Also if its a card game it's going to be severely micro-transaction based/pay2win
