Forums - Politics Discussion - Why is everyone upset at Gruber, one of the Obamacare architects, for telling the truth?

He told the truth when he said they wrote the law so no one can understand it.  He also told the truth when he said that lack of transperancy and the stupidity of the American voter helped Obamacare get passed.

Why when someone tells the truth we hit them over the head until they go away?

There are some really bad laws in place in this country, but I never hear anyone tell the truth about those laws.Laws such as stand your ground are just stupid -as we already have self defense- and people are using it to get away with murder. These people only speak out against Obama for racist reasons and because they are republicans, not because it is the truth.

The answer.

Most people don't like the truth especially when they believed in the lie so much. Politicians will typically add things they want passed in a bill that will most likely get passed when it has nothing to do with the bill. They sometimes will word the bill a certain way to hide things.

You should have just adopt a real medicalcare system paid with taxes and for everyone like ALL developped countries around the world... Leave the medical care in the hands of insurance compagnies yeah right, that was a great idea...
