Really they should let you add any amount at any time using a Visa... but I guess this amounts to the same thing.

That's strange. Why don't you delete your credit card info from your account and enter in the details again. I use my visa and have no problems adding money. 

It's not really that I have problems adding money, I just thought it was weird that they only let you add those specific amounts. But I was informed by the_dengle that if you try to purchase an item with insufficient funds, you can add the specific amount you need. Thanks for the help though! :)

Well, that's awfully nice of you!

I would use it to introduce my little sister to the wonders of Super Mario RPG. c: I'm trying to get closer to her by sharing my love for video games with her, and she seems to particularly like RPGs, just like I do. It would be a fun holiday break activity!

I would like to use the $ towards buying the megaman games on VC, in hopes that my support will bring forth a new megaman game (of any kind). my goal is to get all of them and have them wonderfully displayed on the main menu, 1-7, x1-3, the eventual battle network and megaman zero games as well.
