Forums - Gaming Discussion - Do you have confidence that 343 will make a good Halo 5 game? I don't.

As usual Bevochan just writes the OT and go chill somewhere else.

It takes time to make popcorn....

1. Halo 4 single player was awesome and MP was pretty good...I'll take another one like it in a heartbeat. They can't all be revolutionary

2. From little what I played, the new COD is definitely trying to incorporate Halo elements in to its MP and not vice versa

3. Halo 5 MP beta starts on Dec 29 and tones of footage is available. Looks great...

4. You've always been a PlayStation fan, so where is this concern for Halo quality suddenly coming from?

TMCC is not your regular game. It's a transgenerational pack of games with 100 maps and bunch of different game engines. Worked on by numerous studios, which I believe was too much for the sake of a cohesive and seamless experience.

I can't argue with that, of course. I'm just speaking in terms of online playability and lack of glitches, however. Upgrading massive games like those for the new gen is no easy feat, but I think their experience with MCC just might make them more determined to iron out everything in Gaurdians to make it the best experience possible. Which is a good thing.

That's how people learn and evolve... learning from mistakes.

I believe that H5 will be great because just one team or dev will be working on it. There won't be a cluster eff of messages along the chain of command. That's important.

Agreed.

Do I have confidence? Not a lot. I at least expect it to be decent.

Halo 4 campaign was great. And anyone who hates Halo 4's multiplayer then loves Destiny's is a hypocrite. Its exactly what people didn't like x10. Unbalanced maps, Only 5 game modes (1 of which only comes on every other weekend), choose your own overpowered weapons and armor upgrades, Killstreaks for an overpowered super that will spawn orbs to get your teammates closer to their overpowered super.

I loved Halo 4's multiplayer and didn't really Destiny's.

If it was one thing 343i did better than Bungie, it was definitely the SP campaign. Having played through them all now again with the MCC, only the first game comes close to H4 in terms of story and overall composition. H:CE looses somewhat though because of levels like the library and some other stages where you need to repeat the same process over and over.

The MP aspect of H4 got criticized, because fans thought 343i innovated to much, so.... :P. Besides, doesn't 343i consist of alot of former Bungie employees?

Agreed, MCC had alot of issues, and 343i should get alot of blame for that. But at the end of the day, the put 106 mp maps in one game!
