Doubt it... I am pretty sure the 3ds's MH sales would want to make Capcom continue to earn that money instead of putting it on the Vita of all things.

They don't lose the 3DS's sales MH sales money if they make MH5 for both

They wouldn't win anything either. If MH4 showed something it is the fact, that the MH-fandom is pretty fixed in size and will follow the game wherever. If they do a multiplat they have to pay the increased dev-cost without winnign much sales.

Capcom have been one of the best third party supporters of the 3ds, so not sure where you're comment of "if they ever were interested" comes from? Two good resi games, a great street fighter port, a couple of great monster hunter titles and phoenix wright. Is that not being interested?

Would prefere see this on ps4 :)

Wow, you really do like Monster Hunter.

Anyhow, multi-plat? Maybe. Exclusive? Maybe when Nintendo no longer makes consoles.

Capcom is close to whoever or whatever will make them the most money.

Nope, Capcom can not release any Monster hunter games on any other handheld consoles. Capcom had a contract with Nintendo that Monster hunter franchise will stay inclusive to only the 3ds handheld console for three years. I think this contract was established maybe . However that doesnt mean that it can not be on other home consoles.

So many people who think Monster Hunter would be multiplat if not for that meddling Nintendo.

Capcom releases a new Monster Hunter every year, and it has never been multiplat. MH, MHG, and MH2 were not multiplat when they were on PS2. Portable, Portable 2nd, Portable 2nd G, Portable 3rd were not multiplat when they were on PSP. But Tri, 3G, 4, 4G come along and suddenly Capcom must be beholden to some deal they made to keep these exclusive.

Possible? Sure. But jumping to such conclusions is just blaming the boogeyman for things that have always been.

Anyway, @OT, I don't think Sony cares enough about the Vita to go to the trouble of doing that.

I forgot that indeed...

Nope. I played MH4U at Paris Games Week and found it absolutely terrible.

I don't know why they would put it on the Vita. They already have a big enough audience on Nintendo platforms.
