Why can't they let this series die? It's finished, done.

Why do people wish that series that other people enjoy end? Just don't buy the game, but I will and millions of others.

I completed god of war 3 a while ago and i remember kratos commiting suicide at the end of the game, so how can he be brought back from the dead to star in god of war 4?

Kratos is an icon.

It would make no sense

to remove such an important character.

Exactly that! Just give something new for Kratos slay and we are good to go!

After the credits, a scene shows the same area where he "killed" himself. There's no body there and a blood trail in the floor descending the mountain.

Or just look at his name and say "Ridley". :p

Besides, Kratos can't die, for some reason when he dies he spawns back from Hades (makes no sense to me, but whatever). Why can only he do that? Such a bullshit story when you think about it.

How about watching the after-credits scene? And also how many times has Kratos died?? more than 1 and he came back to life.  Also Athena is the minion of another entity; which most likely will be the boss for GOW4.  I bet the boss will be Uranus, the primordial one.   It is in the Lore of GOW:A but with "no name".

there are some gods alive, like Apollo, Artemis, Aphrodite, many titans and Giants; maybe Uranus will become the new ruler entity and all of them will become his minions (bitches).  There are many human heroes that are demigods like Aquiles and Belerophon.

There is plenty of content to used still in GOW.

I cant wait, just bc of the hate, I hope Kratos is back and look forward to it.

GoW3 was so fun and is just beautifully done on ps3. I cant wait to see what they do with the power in the ps4, and hopefully epic boss fights like in 3.

Guys, let's say that Kratos comes back, but they change the mythology - how would/could they do it? :S

Well, in all ocasions he needed some external help to do it. In GoW 1 he is helped by the other gods, that decided that Ares was crazy so they helped Kratos to see if he could fix the problem without direct intervention. In GoW 2, Zeus kills him. Again, he receives help. Gaia helps him to escape from the underworld because he could help her to release the Titans and start a new war against the gods. In GoW 3, Athena helps him and he manages to kill Hades and absorb his soul, so after that escaping isn't much of an issue.

I guess, I still think it's a rather poor excuse to make you go to Hades! Hercules did that without having to die in the mythology stories.
