Forums - Gaming Discussion - Street Fighter V - PS4 will be only console it will EVER release on

I really can't see Street Fighter V's 3 or 4 revisions being kept away from Xbox One. I'm sure Super Street Fighter V, Super Street Fighter V Arcade or Ultra Street Fighter V will appear on the XO...unless CapCom decides to create these upgrades exclusively digital.

It will ever release on... in 2015.

They did not include 2015 in that sentence.

Wasn't this confirmed already?

If Microsoft or Nintendo want a slice of the cake, at this point, it's gotta be with a different addition like Street Fighter V Turbo or whatever. Until then, no cake for them!

LMAO street fighter has not been on a nintendo console for almost two decades, Nintendo does not give a ****. Especially considering they have the best selling fighting series ever.

MS on the other hand :(. I do love Killer Instinct more though.....

Dat money hat.

I'm just happy PC users are getting the game this time. Its a rare thing for Sony exclusivity deals.

You need some marketing freedom.

This would have been a huge exclusive well (console) exclusive... 25 years ago.... By todays standards it's nice... but you wont have people buying PS4s to play this game.... Nowhere remotely close to a system seller... I wonder how much money they had to pay to tie this exclusive up... Probably better money spent elsewhere.

I already know 2 who have the fighting game scene is still massive, sf5 and guilty gear Xrd, both being ps4 exclusive has a lot of tournament fans onboard.

OT: Because of cross-platform play, I highly doubt it was "moneyhatted". Then again, I don't care either way, I'm glad it's coming!

No, it was definitely moneyhatted.

As I've said numerous times before X1 PC ports. Allowing a PC version to exist is more appealing to the developer than a true exclusive.

Also, Sony can probably pay less for the moneyhat if they allow a PC version to exist.
