Forums - Nintendo Discussion - 2015.. year of the WII U?

Personal Opinion it comes down to exclusives. Nintendo has that department in the bag. I would like Little Big Planet and Uncharted, but not going spend $400+ for a new system and a couple games. The absence of 3rd party games doesn't on Nintendo means much to a game player who enjoys playing on a PC. Which, I have a feeling that a good majority of Xbox "exclusives" will be available on as well. So if it was a competition I would still stand by Wii U as having the best 2015 for my needs.

exclusives wise, yes.

These aren't even all of the games that are to be confirmed for 2015.. Maybe Nintendo is keeping Metroid a surprise for E3? They really need to spend more time to market the new StarFox U title, so we should expect to see footage of that pretty soon.

Maybe for fans, I'll only be getting x and Zelda from that list which are the only 2 big games. From a neutral standpoint thats not a very impressive list at all.

At the very least, Nintendo will be continuing giving Wii U owners some quality games in 2015, which I am excited about.

But yeah WiiU has a few solid games next year... finally. Maybe we can have a year with a worthwhile purchase every month.

Why not limit the list to exclusives and not cross platform games? Also PC counts as a platform.

Why limit the list to exclusives? Is it relevant for a PS4 gamer with no other systems if good games are also available on other platforms? Is it relevant for a PS4 gamer with other systems, but the PS4 is his main system and the PS4 versions have the best quality (excluding PCs more expensive than a PS4+WiiU combo)?

Oh, and Project Cars in the OT ain't exactly a WiiU exclusive ;)

Not even close. Xbox One and ps4 all have strong line ups too. 2015 is the year of gaming

Ltd predictions by the time 9th Gen comes out

Ps4:110million

Xbox one :75 million( was 65)

Wii u: 20 milliion

It's a good year for Nintendo but 2015 will show the disparity in third party support too much, one publisher (Nintendo) can't match up against the entire development community. That said, there's a lot of cool stuff coming for the Wii U in 2015.
