Forums - Gaming Discussion - Street Fighter 5 And Dungeon Defenders 2 Are Both PS4 Exclusive?

Why don't you guys understand yet? When Sony does an exclusive, it's exclusive. If Sony comes out and says Street Fighter 5 is a console exclusive, it's a console exclusive. It's not timed. They don't do that. The only timed games you will see are indies. I mean seriously, I'm baffled people don't know this. It's not going to come to Xbox One, but it depends on how Sony says it. If they just say "console exclusive", it's not coming to Xbox One. If they say it's coming first to PS4 and PC, then we know it's timed.

You are absolutely correct. Sony is never the obecwho will hide or obfuscate the exclusivity. As we see from numerous recent examples, they always specify it. Unless, if course, it is an indie game whose eevelopers still have no idea on the future of the game (example: Hellblade)

We just need to wait for the official reveal of SF5 to hear the exact wording.

They are only coming to PS4 and PC.
Sony don't do hidden timed exclusives, but the only way to confirm this is t ask the developers.

Don't copy random editorials.

Don't forget about the new Godzilla game as well, although this one is PS3/PS4 only.

If Street Fighter 5 isn't timed, surely Ultra / Super / Alpha / Championship Edition (whatever it may be called) will be multiplat.

I guess when that time comes it will be multiplat xD

Too many versions to money hat hahahaha!

While I think companies buying previously multiplat franchises is crap I am glad to see Sony striking back MS for that Tomb Raider move. Street Fighter is a big move.

The only losers in tit for tat multi-plat to exclusive wars is gamers. It was one reason I was pissed about TR because it had a good chance of starting a tit for tat war, and now we have one.

My bet for a MS retaliatory strike is Fallout. I don't think they will try to hit back with another fighting game, but Mortal Kombat carries no risk in terms of losing Japan sales for WB.

Never imagined that Sony would be able to moneyhat a huge game like DD2.

Can't wait for Street Fighter V ! SF IV was fantastic.
