I think this is MS's policies around cross platform multi-player that bit them in the back... like for Final Fantasy XIV.


I have to quote you because that is absolutely right. In an interview, SE said they tried to get FFXIV on the Xbox One, they even showed MS that they have it ready to play, but MS said they want their own server for the game. SE said they don't want to split, and divide the player base. And that is why FFXIV is not on Xbox One.
