Forums - Gaming Discussion - Bigger Moneyhatted exclusive: Tomb Raider or Street Fighter?

So the new controversy around here seems to be Sony's so-called Moneyhatting of Street Fighter. Going back to Microsoft supposedly doing the same by locking down Tomb Raider exclusivity, which do you think locked up the bigger exclusive: Living with Tomb Raider or Sony with Street Fighter?

Edit: I say Street Fighter will bring more people to PS4 than Tomb Raider will bring top XBOX One. The Japanese market will more than likely flock to PS4 for this game. I know that it's also on PC but I don't know many gamers who have both a gaming console and a PC who would pick up a title like Street Fighter for the PC. And let's not forget that this is a competitive fighter with online capabilities. Tomb Raider's online was the only thing I dislike about the game. Just my opinion...

What say you?

PC GAMING: BEST GAMES. WORST CONTROLS

Tomb raider because its coming to only Xbox unlike SF V coming to PC along with PS4. Also the creator ono said that SF has some development cost issues in an interview. So sony should have provided some support and PS4 is in great momentum now in next gen race so its easy to go with exclusive to save costs and get good sales (Xbox one dead in Japan and europe except UK and US).

GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.

I say SFV based on SFIV sales but god, I hate calling them an "exclusive" since they are both (Probably for Tomb Raider) coming to PC which is actually pretty great for PC gamers cause we are apparently, in a way, outside the "exclusivity" zone and we are getting the best of both worlds really when it comes to most third party games! I think Tomb Raider will also be coming to PC soon enough as well, just won't be announced till later!

Both great games, Both well known. Idc if theyre moneyhatted or not to be honest. Both will likely be timed exclusives and ill be buying both on the first platform they come out for. No reason to be up in arms. I do believe both companies needed the money to justify developement

Arguable that without Sony this wouldnt be going ahead, well not so soon anyway.

Anyway SFV is the bigger score, TR is timed which we dont know about SFV yet and it shares a fanbase with Uncharted who arent leaving PS to play TR earlier.

Tomb raider is not available in PC where SFV does but you say SFV is big. SFV had some development cost problems said by ono in interview, so got some support from sony i guess and confidence from PS4 next gen sales.

What do you mean with bigger?

I'm tempted to say that SF5 will sell more on PS4 than TR on X1.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Tomb Raider because the reboot was amazing and SFIV was just good.

Yea but it probably will be... If you look at DR3 and Ryse, they were exclusive to Xbox until after they launched and then they were ported to PC!

If they are both timed exclusives Tomb Raider, because it sells much better on Sony consoles.
