I'd say police officers in general think they're above the law. Not all of them, but a good amount do. Sadly this is one of the signs of a decaying society.

i would say at least 70% are "good cops"

20% are just power hungry

8% are bad cops

2% are legitimately racist

Hey socialist slayer, You must hate this... LOL

Cops are out of control, they lack proper training. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUdHIatS36A

I would say that those areas would be a lot worse off without the cops than they will ever be with them. These are isolated incidents that are being blown up. Sometimes people take things too far, has nothing to do with cops it's just people being people. I saw people make a big deal out of cops shooting a guy who was walking at them with a knife after giving him plenty of warning. People said the cops lied be a use the guy wasn't 4 feet away from them but more like 10 or so. A person can close 10 to 15 feet in a few tenths of a Second. Everyone is raging about these incidents but what about the cops who get killed in the line of duty everyday. There is a video online of a cop making a routine traffic stop and two guys get out of their truck and u load on him point blank and all you see is him drop off screen and hear him screaming. These guys are under an incredible amount of stress on a daily basis and most of the nay sayers who speak out against them have criminal records.

They got my order wrong at Mcdonald's. Therefore all Mcdonald's employess will get my order wrong.

They spit in my burger on purpose at Mcdonalds. Therefore all Mcdonalds employees will spit in my burger.

Prime example of the logic on this thread.

Now imagine you had it on tape and it was brought before the management staff and the employee was still allowed to work there?  Wouldn't that make you think Mcdonald's employees can get away with a lot, especially when this happens often with little to no recourse. Now imagine this is often by *insert race* doing it to other races more often and getting away with it  more often. Do you think a hypothetical thread titled "Can we agree that *insert race* Mcdonald's employees are above McDonald's rules?" would be out of line?

In this instance it doesn't mean all McDonald's employees of a certain race are bad and abuse where they work but it does mean when they cross the line they are able to get away with it more often than not. Now if the title read: "Can we agree that White American Officers think they are above the law." maybe I could agree with you.

Of course I don't agree! Don't try to fight back if you are being arrested unless you want to get your ass kicked and potentially lose your life. It's not worth it. I feel bad for those that lost their lives.

When did resisting arrest become an option?

Your telling me if a cop grabbed you and slammed you into the pavement you would just let it happen and not at least protect yourself from harm? If they grabbed your arms to put on hand cuffs and pulled your arm to high there would be no resistence? I guess you have the abilities of an oppossum.

Ok, prove they did fight back. You do know there used to be a saying in the south, that a cop would ask  you to spit on his gun, then tell you to whip it off, Once you did what he asks, he would fire. He went for my gun.

Did you even watch the video?  The guy was resisting arrest 100%  It is an absolute tragedy what happened, but don't pretend the guy was being compliant in any way shape or form.  To answer question though yeah I would protect myself but I wouldn't struggle against them, that's just a bad idea

Okay but that's just a saying.  It doesn't mean squat or add anything to the conversation

Yes I did , did you? He was complaining about being harrassed by police officers, then said don't touch me while lifting his hands up. Your telling me that much force and people was needed? Would you really call that fighting back? What qualifies this as 100% percent resisting arrest, what would 50% look like? lol

But if someone grabs my neck like that police or not I would struggle.

Here is a longer video than in the OP:
