Sure, employers can handle it, if they need they will just raise the price on all their products a few cents and be fine. Plus a few pennies does not bother me any either. But again, when does it end?

The funny thing is that most will still have two jobs in the end, still struggle financially because even with more money they will burn through it. Still beg welfare for more food money, and so on and so forth.

This changes nothing, and yet changes a lot.

it ends where the government experts say so, its called living wage and it covers all the basics.

and college for the kids shouldnt cost any money, atleast if you dont want te country to go down.

Citizenship test is a joke lol....then again Fox News is a joke.

For Citizenship, they ask you three questions. Let me give you three random ones.

What are the colors of the USA flag?
Where does the President live?
What ship brought the first settlers to America?

And then they have you read a sentence from a paper or book, and finally a dictation.

You still pass if you get one wrong.

Far too many people in the US seem to have graduated high school, even college, without knowing the difference.

It really matter, someone that doesn''t know how to properly express himself and write in a good fashion is less likely to suceed. If someone can't use even proper grammar, understand basic math and physics, general notions of geopolitic and some civilization history I would doubt his skill or learning capacity in anything. You won't make a manager of someone that communicates with slangs and don't know the difference bettween those 8 forms and which to use.

Holy mother of dumb ideas. The purpose of a citizenship test is to become a US Citizen.  These kids are mostly already US citizens.  What about just making sure the kids can get into college?

funding schools is a waste of money. thas the conclusion i have come to after doing interviews with students for a sociology class i had (college). you would be amazed how much of these people are blithering idiots who cannot form a coherent setence,  thought, or idea. funding the school isnt going to make a difference in any of that. if youre talking pre-college,  then yes, maybe those schools should b funded enough to at least not force students to share books, but ill tell you that real learning occurs when you want it to. we have so many resources at our disposal,  and we cant blame the fact that we have dumb students because of low funding in schools. thats just shifting responsobility. 

i say give these students the test whether they learn it in school or not. they can learn it on their own. im telling you, in the real world, youre going to have to look shit up yourself. all the time. we wilk be doing these highschool students a service to not be so fucking reliant on teachers and "funding for schools". 


Yes I'm talking about before college. We still need to teach kids to read,write, math ( at least up until algebra) and they do teach students how to research subjects so they also learn how to teach themselves. 

The citizenship test is stupid I dont even think immigrants should have to take it what a waste of everyones time. Like I care what some immigrant knows about this country. I think the best it does is show that the person is commited to being allowed in this country. Also do you know the testing process? It's literally a joke. This guy online said this women next to him failed and was allowed to take it again right away. 20 questions multiple choice.

Sorry but anything Fox news has to say is usually so far out, most of their info is 90% inaccurate. So really who cares, they cater to older white people, which views can be extreme and far out of the norm. Some of the older white people in my family are racist, power hungry and generally only watch fox news. I fact check them sometimes because I get sick of hearing all the hate, nonsense that comes out of their mouths, mostly from fox news.
