PS4 > WiiU as predicted last month. Not by much, but with Smash Bros gone and PS4's February lineup approaching, it's understandable how the VGC community is favoring PS4 now.
3DS's market share of hype got crushed with the release of Smash Bros and Pokemon. There isn't much hype for Monster Hunter, Zelda, and Codename S.T.E.A.M. yet, but Majora's Mask was only recently announced, so January should see gains.
PC also seemed to gain, but I attribute that to the lower vote count on all other platforms with PC gamers remembering to vote.

Nintendo's still way in the lead as top publisher, but it fell a dramatic 5.4% after Smash Bros and Pokemon released this fall. The market share will probably not rise until the next Nintendo Direct or until spring when the release dates of Zelda, Spatoon and even XenoBlade Chronicles approach. Konami's market share grew, but that's just fluctuation. Microsoft growing is a surprise to me, one would have expected it to fall with Halo MCC releasing, but I guess the massive bundles this fall have increased hype for Microsoft games. CAPCOM's share also went up with the hype for Resident Evil Revelations 2 increasing

No Smash Bros means that the fighting genre took a massive fall, but Tekken managed to keep the genre relevant. Horror went up thanks to Silent Hills gaining popularity, and Action-Adventure grew because of increased hype for Uncharted 4, Zelda, Captain Toad, Metal Gear Solid and welll, most of the big Action-Adventure games. Why this genre grew so much is anyones guess. Don't expect any major changes come January.
If anyone wants to take over for me, I don't think I'm the best for this role. I made a great automated excel spreadsheet. All you have to do is add points/votes, new entries, and then use the sort function at the end of the month.
