How is digimon looking in sales and will it be localized?  Wat i mean in sales is, is it suppose to be a huge hit (150k-200k lifetime). As for localization, i thought maybe you would know. The game looks gorgeous so far. Wished pokemon looked like that *.*

Digimon has never sold gangbusters in Japan.  I think it'll sell more like Adventure than Re;digitize, myself.

Ok, I was into digimon especially the first 2 seasons, only games i played were the battle ones (i think gba).

Still no word on GR2. Though many thnk it'll be multiplat. I think another price cut will be coming March/April next year. I still need to get a vita, im so broke though XD

it was absent at some online retailers charts during the first week. But the game will have legs

Weren't you predicting explosive sales this week?  It's not going to have legs.  It's a hunting game from an established franchise and the user reviews are poor.  The only legs it may have are from being a holiday title, but I doubt it.

Yeah I was predicting an explosive week based on the 1 Million instal base and holiday  until I realised that they are the one who won't buy the game because they are busy with PSO2 episode 3. I say legs because of the holiday and mostly because "I hope" they will finish with episode 3 (which looks realy good) and then come back to play P.S.N

I'm expecting a price cut in Feb/Mar too.  Problem is, there's little announced software to go along with it at this point.  God Eater in February and Sword Art Online/Senran Kagura in March, but they're hardly going to bring new buyers in.  There's smaller titles scattered in between (like have been the Vita's bread and butter so far).

I'm half expecting them to just ride it out as a profit making machine until they kill it off some time in 2016.

I think it'll last for awhile longer than 2016. If anything is killing vita its going to be ps4 to an extent. Lots of Multiplats that would of been exclusive and even some games might be PS4 only. We'll see though.

When did Sony announce a price cut for vita march 2013? I think it was jan, so if anything we'll hear something next month. Also Type 0 releasing in Feb/March. That should help vita despite ps4 (multiplat) release imo.

Amazing 3DS sales
Nice to see both Wii U and PS4 over 10k
XB1 still boming, and I don't see that changing anytime soon

I see it being like Dreamcast tbh. That went for nearly 10 years in Japan just getting the odd title. As long as it has a niche audience which are making the smaller games profitible, that's fair enough. I'd just hope this time, with Sony having a successful distribution network with PS4 stuff, they'll be able to keep physical Western releases viable to companies that want to do it.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Why would FFT0 help the Vita? It is releasing on PS4/Xbox One.
