Sony did always the best worldwide in none western regions in comparison to MS and Nintendo, its due to the Playstation symbols

A [  ] O X

Nintendo and MS are using the latin alphabet which is a western script while sony uses symbols which everyone can understand from Greece, Russia, India, China to arab states

Tha is kind a stupid thing to say.

Latin alphabet is very easy to learn is used everywhere in technologies. If you are using a computer Keyboard chances are 99% you are using one with A,B,X,Y.

Any educated Russian, Indian and Chinease know how to read it.

well i guess is not  " Stupid in giving some opinion ", just respect some opinion without sayying " stupid " can you....

Sudenly people that don´t belive BF surveis trust blindly in obscure and baseless numbers from India.

Any way, India is a grey market paradise.

Why do you say that they are baseless?

1- Seems to be anedoctal. One retail says it 20 to 1 software sales. Assuming 50k is the target for Sony and that they are close to reach it... When their fiscal year end? Or is that for the end of this year? Or, didn´t PS4 was launched there last December?

2- India PS4 is the second most expensive in the world (losing only for the Brasilian). Grey market florish there. Is the 50k only official sales? Is the 1,5k XOne only Amazon´s?

3- A big crowd gathered for GTA-V launch??? That is hard to belive, there where no report of crowds any where in the world. And I was in one of the biggest malls in my country and there were no extra moviment for GTA-V on the PS4 and XOne (nor last year for the PS3 and 360, althought they had more advertise and the lots of PS3 bundles) .

4- India is a big and diversified country. Mumbai alone is not representative.

Probably won't sell more than 500k units lifetime there then. I guess every little helps, but man it makes you realise how small the gaming market is there, for a country of 1.2b people.

500k would be huge.
India is still way behind in most parts if u compare the BRIC countries

The Ps4 launched the 6th January. The Xb1 23rd September

2. (opinion)

3.(opinion

4.(opinion)

none of your point is provable and more trustable then the SONY guys on the OP, while i do believe India is not like US or UK but considering India GDP is save to say India is a moving country that has a lot potential. and you have to remember SONY has the  launch the console offically (not only gray or imported ) in India, South East Asian, Middle East, and Taiwan and Hongkong. So they have total number solely for that region.

It also took PS3 3 holidays to reach 19m WW and yet PS4 will reach that just after its second or during. So this acceleration compared to an 83m and counting selling console isn't even unordinary. It's just crazy how high PS4 is going to sell.

WHAT A FUCK!? O-O

The news left the best part.

"Sources amongst multiple distributors and retailers all independently confirmed that less than 1,500 units have been sold across the country, and that too only after rampant discounts and offers. We contacted Microsoft to verify these claims to which we received no comment."

Wait for tier 2 launch!

"Atindriya Bose, Sony Computer Entertainment's Country Manager for India said in an interview that the company is en route to selling 50,000 PS4s by the end of the current financial year"

Interesting. Still a very small market though.

They report worldwide crowds?

I'm sure the biggest mall in your country is representative of India, well at least more representative then Mumbai.
