Totally agree. It should have been a portable PS2 with the ability to maybe have a higher clock speed and additional RAM etc to cater for devs who wanted to make games for it with a little bit extra polish/effects etc.

Have a massive digital catalogue of PS2 games available, patch in trophy support for the PS2 games and the thing would have sold like hotcakes.

Depends on the games, so looking at the wasteland MS consoles have in terms of exclusives then no. Besides I don't care too much about FPSs.

Doubtful. I haven't played a gaming portable device since the Advanced SP. If I was ever to buy another portable system it would be a 3DS or whatever Nintendo has out at the time.
