I can see Xbox winning back the lucrative US and UK and other English speaking markets but PS4 for everywhere else.

MS did a good job this holiday season, no doubt. If they can take this boost and keep it rolling past the holidays, then they got their selves a comeback

Homies... lol!

The X1 is doing much better than I would have expected and I'm glad to see it as a one console race (clear leader) results in less innovation and we all lose out!

Given that Microsoft have gone back on many statements that they made, such as the X1 will never be sold without Kinect and the radical price reduction of the console, it would be shocking for them not to have numbers like these!!

I am more surprised that Sony have had to do nothing to keep ahead...

Even if it does that's kind of the expectation for an Xbox console at this point. They are still getting slaughtered in the rest of the world. The fact that it will be AT BEST even in the US and UK at the end of this holiday and then PS4 will start on the lead again is bad for Xbox. They need to dominate those areas like they did last gen to be even.

Nope, PS4 will outsell the XB1 again unless they drop to $350, and then Sony can just follow. We'll see sales continue like they did before all XB1's promotions and deals. At best XB1 will trail PS4 by a few k weekly in the US and UK.

Ignorance at it's finest...Nothing???? There 20 + studios, decades of being in the console business, building a brand, just released Share play, PS now, Morpheus is coming, 2015 is loaded with exclusives 2 in just a few months, with a big event this week with more announcements, made a platform that really attracts third parties...Doing nothing is an idiotic thing to say.

Joke??? No one is dominating Us and UK.......Ms is not going to have price drops and major bundles to use every month, it is only a matter of timke before PS4 starts outselling x1 weekly in the US and UK..
