Forums - Nintendo Discussion - What did you do with your Wii U? [2nd anniversary]

I mostly use it for Smash Bros. right now, especially since I can just jump into an online match and have some quick fun. I also use the Virtual Console quite a bit.

I play mine occasionally. I bought Smash Bros but haven't had a chance to play it yet. I think its gonna be a good secondary console for me this gen.

I was thinking the same way with my PC but suddenly I am using my Wii U more often than my PC. But of course this has something to do with the fact that a lot of great games came out this year.

I don't hate Microsoft, I don't hate PC,
I don't prefer Sony, I don't prefer Nintendo.
...Ok, I love Nintendo but this is something about tolerance, ok?

I'm a gamer with one of the greatest hobbies and I want to share this greatness with everyone.

Still playing mine!

Currently going back and forth with Smash and Mario Kart, though I might revisit ZombiU again before I get some new games this Christmas.

Did you buy the MK8 DLC? It's a lot of fun and the price for both is fair.

I always wanted to play Zombi U and Monster Hunter again but I haven't enough time, even for my new games.

What do you want for Christmas?

I certainly did! I bought both packs so I'm enjoying the new tracks so far and will look forward to the next batch that gets released as well.

That's my problem, I have a big backlog of games so it's difficult to try and revisit.

I might try and pick up some recent 360 titles that I just haven't played yet (GTAV, Evil Within, Skyrim). As for Wii U or 3DS, I might get ORAS, Lego City Undercover and Rayman Legends.

I am playing AlphaSapphire at the moment. It's a lot of fun and it feels great to visit the places in Hoenn again!

I got it in September with MK8. Finished all cups in 3 stars. Not bought DLC.

Then in October, I got Hyrule Warriors as a gift. Really enjoyed it, but for now, I'm done with just completing the story on normal. I don't consider the game finished at all, I need to at least 90% it and I'm not even close!

Later in same month I got Bayonetta 1, Bayonetta 2 and AC:Black Flag for just over £50 from amazon. Done with B1, now playing B2. I tried Black Flag and reached as far as the first part after the prologue. REALLY like the pirate part, but HATE those animus sync and futuristic, stuff.

3 Days ago, I got Link amiibo & Smash Bros Wii U on Black Friday. Unlocked all the stages and characters so far.

That's my Wii U's 4 month anniversary story.

That's a great story and I hope this isn't the end of it. I hope I can find more time to play more Super Smash Bros. the next weeks^^

I never did play the original. Honestly didn't play anything but the first 2 gens of Pokemon.

I feel like it would be nice to get this one and get back into it!

Brings back memories. I think I'll start another round of NSMBU as I haven't played it in quite some time.

" Rebellion Against Tyrants Is Obedience To God"

I'm playing Smash and still unlocking things on Bayonetta/2 (which I think will take home GOTY). Also I'm looking forward to what will probably be the greatest year in my gaming existence next year due to what was shown of Xenoblade Chronicles X and LOZ Wii U. Both of these games hit the exact mark of what I was hoping they would go direction wise (I'm an anime fan and love games with MASSIVE open Worlds). All they need to do is show that they are developing a Metroid game and my purchase of the system will officially be justified.

On a side note, I'm expecting greatness from Splatoon and Star Fox. Nintendo has really went above and beyond in most aspects of their 1st party titles.

I still play mine daily, currently halfway through ZombiU.

Smash Bros. The game is so good!
