and i thought I would kick off this exciting time by posting my top ten games of the year!
10.
we are going to kick off this list with assassins creed unity. i know what youre all thinking, and yes, you are right to some extent. but this year has been a slower than usual year, so this game did make it on the top ten. and honestly, when you look past all the bugs and stuff, you really do see a good game with an amazing story and amazing graphics. if you guys can just find it in yourselves to give this game a chance, then i think you really will end up liking it.

this game definitely could have made it higher on the list, but ubisoft didn't quite live up to the expectations. still, an extremely solid title with good graphics and good gameplay mechanics. personally, i wasnt disappointed as much as other people were because i recognize the hard work it takes to make a game, package it up, and put it out there for us. this game also got amazing sales, so it definitely deserves to be among the top ten games that released this year. solid title.

I have to say that i am very surprised that this game made it on my top ten list. im a fan of call of duty. i buy it every year. its a game that is known for its quality and it delivers every time. that being said, its usually not in the top ten because there are always amazing games released every year. the competition is tough, and i have to say that this time, call of duty made it. lots of improvements in this installment and just overall a fun experience. if you have been passing on the call of duty's recently, now is a good time to experience the greatness that awaits! i got the day zero edition, but I am not sure if there is any difference between that and the regular edition. Get any copy you can get your hands on!

Destiny was a fantastic game. I have already logged in 150 hours on the ps3 version, and that is including all these other fantastic titles that have released this year. So for that game to keep my attention for this long is definitely saying something. Bunjie and Activision really did create something special here. The game sold great and it really is worth the purchase (I will elaborate more later).

I was a huge fan of the first two Little Big Planets, and also the handheld versions, but this one definitely is the difinitive version. This is the culmination of Little Big Planet. Better graphics, better customization, better online, better and more intuitive ways to share your creations. This game just has it all and is definitely for you if you like creativity and good graphics.

Far Cry 4 was incredible and blew my expectations away. This has got to be the reason that Assassins Creed was a bit lacking, because Ubisoft was working on this gem. And in my opinion, i'll take that! You guys need to understand that not every game can be perfect. Sometimes you hit, sometimes you miss. And yes, Ubisoft didn't deliver all the way with Assassin's Creed, but they delivered with this. And we need to give them some credit. I can't talk about this game too much without giving away spoilers, so just take my word for it. This game is increidble.

Ok, I was a HUGE fan of the first two inFAMOUSES (inFAMII?) and when I saw the trailer for this before the PS4 came out... I was like woah, son, step back. Because I knew this game was going to revolutionize the way we see video games, and it did! This was the first game that really showcased next gen graphics and what next gen gaming is all about. If you have not played the first two, then I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GAME!! You HAVE to play the first two in order to appreciate what this game has to offer. Get Cole's story, and then come back to this and see what it is all about.

This game was a masterpiece last year, and it's a masterpiece again this year. This would be higher on the list, but honestly, there is no topping what is to come. Just you guys wait and see what is next and you will understand. This game does have it all. Great graphics, great online, and a first person mode. It is like a masterpiece, but better than a masterpiece. DId you ever think it was impossible to improve a masterpice? Well, if you didn't then you havent played Grand Theft Auto Vfive.

Destiny, baby! The PS4 version is definitely the definitive version, and it shows. The sales are great, the graphics are incredible, and the AI is like nothing I have ever seen before in a video game. Also, I have been playing the game with my friends online, and it is so freaking difficult. We play on hard because we don't settle for anything less. We are always going into games in the highest difficulty setting, and we just recently completed it 100%. It certainly was an adventure. The game is so hard and you have to be a true gamer to complete it the way we did. The worlds in this game are also so vast and beautiful. I have never seen such detailed beautiful scenery in a video game before. A true gem from this year.

No question, this has to be game of the year 2014. It just has to be. I have never played any game like this in my entire life. you actually care about the characters. like, when some of the characters died, i actually felt sad. when mario dies, i never feel sad, but when any of the characters in the last of us die, i seriously feel something inside. and thats what gaming is all about. its about feeling. and then theres the graphics. dont even get me started on the graphics. best looking game of all time. there is nothing else that tops this masterpiece. true game of the year. i am seriously looking forward to seeing who gives what the overall game of the year, because this one is just undeniable. anybody who gives it to a game other than this is just going to expose themselves.
