Forums - Gaming Discussion - Sci-Fi vs Fantasy

Which do you like better?

Movies - Sci-fi > Fantasy

Games - Fantasy > Sci-fi

Can't really decide which is better though...

Like them about the same, don't know if I could say one is better than the other

Hmmm, would Xenoblade and FF fall into Sci-fi Fantasy or would they be considered just Fantasy or just Sci-fi cause then I would say I like Sci-Fi Fantasy and not one or the other loll

But idk, depends on the game really

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Sci-fi, Sci-fi
But honestly they're so broad it really doesn't mean anything.
Inception for instance is Sci-Fi, and I only like it slightly more than LOTR
but then Space Odyssey, Gattaca...

And I honestly don't think there are that many good Sci-fi games compared to Fantasy Games

Sci-Fi makes a better story in my opinion. Fantasy does have better settings though. Magitech beats both though.

They are both, both, but more fantasy then Sci-Fi, true Sci-Fi games would be like Mass Effect.

Fantasy, I need my wizards and elves.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

It's a tough choice but I would say fantasy just because I love the overall settings more.

Fantasy virtually limitless and can be anything. Go watch Toriko to see what I mean. Sci-Fi is a bit more structured though.
