I am really surprised by how strong they are.

Level 9 CPUs aren't that much of a problem for me, but level 50 amiibos? No chance...

They hit harder then normal characters, I cannot beat mine either.

You can if you want. As they level up, they also get boosts that CPU and player characters can't, like additional damage and knock back.

Usually, in fighting games, the AI wont take full advantage of system mechanics. Sometimes, new things are found that wasn't intended to be in the game, too.. But, don't expect to be the best player after one week.

The AI probably is reading your buttons too, which doesn't help. Just bait & punish if that's the case.
