It's always nationalism. That's why the Japanese current gen consoles sell so poorly in China.


The PS4 is not even out in China. Also every poll done on chinese gamers show a preference for PS4 over Xbox One.

Not really. All Japanese Xbox One owners probably all live in a block in Tokyo, so he just has to knock on every door!

That's unfortunate because they really want to try and penetrate on the market and also make a few j-like games. But seeing how things are going on with both WiiU and PS4 atm, it was kinda expected too.

I have an idea to sell more xbox ones in Japan. They can give them out as gifts after a massage or staring at a girl for a hour in the weird "sex" parlors that they have.  So instead of having a bright green booth that everyone walks by you can start setting up love hotels like Nintendo did in the past.
