Forums - Microsoft Discussion - XB1 going out of stock everywhere online despite 10 million shipment announce...

Yeah its not a surprise. $50 price cut with 2 free games worth $100 will obviously do well. Its not even a year old and the price is that low. They probably didn't produce that many units of the SO white X1 or the COD AW bundle.

Those games are not very good though. Price alone is what's pushing these consoles.

I wish we have a general idea of stock levels so we could have a better idea of how PS4 is doing in comparison.

But its great people can get a console like X1 for $350 with games. That's competition benefitting consumers.

This generation is odd, its seems like people on the internet are discouraging risk taking.

Yeah its awesome for the customers but it does give an impression like the X1 is struggling (which it is for most of the year).

Compared to PS4 the X1 was obviously struggling. The price cut and bundled digital games are a response to that.

Frankly, I'm just glad MS is doing what's necessary to boost sales instead of letting their console flounder through the generation.

AC Unity might not have reviewed well but its still a  huge game that sells a lot.

No, not just compared to the PS4. Overall, the X1 has a had a mixed year. There were many weeks in the summer where the X1 was doing 50k-60k weekly which is not good.

They said nearly ten million, that could be anything, but not ten million.

I know it's nitpicking, but I'm pretty sure the statement was that they would soon be "over 10 million sold into retailers". Might not mean much, but interesting nonetheless.

OT: Great news! It would be awesome if all three had a magical BF.

True, but the Xbox sales have always looked more impressive during the holidays than mid year.

And again, MS adjusted the price and made new bundles to assure sales would see a significant boost during the holiday.

PSN & XBOX GT : cutzman25

Remember they will be restocking Sunset bundles shortly, so a nice way to keep momentum.

Hold on, where did they announce that they shipped 10 Million?

[...]Shortly, we will have sold in to retailers more than 10 million Xbox One consoles.[...]

THey made this announcement 15 days ago. They have certainly surpassed 10 million now.  It isnt like they said OK all done for the holiday everyone go home

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

I'm really disappointed at how badly M$ are at producing consoles...AC bundle has been the only one available on Amazon for weeks despite them announcing those 5 bundles as being their official holiday bundles...what is going on at Ms?!
