GTA V just came out on the PS4 and Xbox One. It has already sold millions in the first week. All I can say, why? What human being would spend 60 dollars just for slightly better graphic effects on a first person mode that doesn't change the gameplay at all? Apparently millions, I guess.

Seriously, stop it game developers, stop rehashing games that you sold a year ago just so you can take advantage of people who oppsess over 1080p graphics. And more importantly, CONSUMERS, stop buying these rehashed games, it's the main reason they are staying.

What are your thoughts?

To be fair there were people who skipped games like the last of us and GTA in order to jump on next gen....


Besides people just want an excuse to jump on next gen even if it is a HD port.(just look at PS4 sales)

My thoughts are that your avatar is pretty cute and you should let the market decide what they want to spend their money on. Sometimes it is on things you consider great and other times not so much.

Well, I would say the graphics of GTA V is noticeably better and I am sure many that bought it a second time probably traded in their old copy to buy it but overall, I do agree to a certain extent. I am, however, on the PC side and PC hasn't gotten GTA V yet so I am perfectly happy with it loll (when it comes out in January that is)

What's the problem? People who haven't played the game yet get the base game with new visuals and some bonuses. The port seems to be well done and nobody is forced to buy the game and if they do, so what? It's their money.

Okay let's be honest, although that may be true, I guarentee over 80 percent of the people who bought this already had the normal versions on 360 and PS3, I know 4 friends who bought the rehash edition, and every single one of them owned the normal version.

the same people who have bought zelda:oot on 3ds, or wind waker on WiiU. or Halo:MCC on xb1, or GoW: Collection on PS3.

why are you so judgmental of other people, thats the real question? do you envy them in some way?

your "guarentee" means jack shit if you cant prove it. and no, your 4 friends arent proof. 

It's not a remaster. It's a port with some enhancements. What's the problem with rereleasing a game on another console with more content? It's been happening for ages.
