Hmm, I don't expect much. Metal Gear is great for single player, but an online game?

Have you played MGO before?? Seemed to have quite a following before it shut down in 2012 exactly 4 years after release.

MGS4 online was brilliant. One of the most uniques experiences you could find last gen.

The only complain is that it suffered of descompensation, if you were new to it. Old-school players could obliterate you and then you'd feel like not playing it anymore.

Right, I think this is the third MGO we'll be getting. Maybe time for a name change...

You are correct. I think not even a good internet connection could help against them. I played thrughout 2009 to 2012, and it was insanely difficult, even against my friend. It was also unforgiving because it punished bad players by lowering them from level. That's one reason people took this game too seriously. MGO 2 was a bit flawed due to some mechanics, but it was fun sometimes.

I'm soooo hyped for MGO.

I'm hoping for the game to have more customization options. And that certain outfits can give a slight advantage. Peace Walker Versus Ops does this pretty good. Like if someone wears a sneaking suit, it silences their footsteps at the cost of less armor. But if the whole team is wearing sneaking suits, not only their footsteps are silenced, but they're harder to spot on the radar (if they use a radar this time). And it would be nice to tag enemies from afar for the team to take out easily. Vehicles wouldn't be a bad addition, as long as they aren't overpowered. I can't wait to hear more details about this game.

I'll be keeping my eye on it, I've been wanting to play Metal Gear Online but I jumped on MGS3 and 4 too late so I missed out.
