When others abandoned Wii U Ubisoft came to aid Wii U. And now Wii U lovers are saying bad things about them. Sometimes its really hard to understand peoples logic.

Ubisoft it's already break my hearth, but if about releasing mature game to prove the game will not sales it's a bit overboard theory, it's not logic for a company looking for money and love money so much like them.

Honestly it wouldnt surprise me. I am sure they will do anything to justify their actions. But I guess we will just have to wait and see how Ubisoft responds to Watchdogs sales on Wii U.

And then that rumour about Zombi U2.

I see your point to an extent. I mean, I love ZombiU, but I feel like that it didn't sell millions upon millions. They made the early statement of no rpofit (when the game only had a 2 million dollars budget.) That was their first mistake.

It got real when they rejected AC: Unity for Wii U, and said Nintendo consumers would play only Just Dance. That was kind of the last straw.

Watch Dogs delay made no sense at all, and I still stand by it being an excuse. Ubisoft just doesn't seem to come close to my expectations anymore.

Wii-u's target demographic is pretty much kids and casuals. There's little reason to port or make an adult game for that console when the majority of gamers/consumers own or will buy a ps4/xbone.

Ubisoft spent thousands upon thousands of dollars just for an excuse?

No.

Ubisoft is just full of shit all around these days to all platforms, thats basically it lol

The only thing Ubisoft is good at is sucking ass. Their games certainly aren't cutting it.

And to their credit, they do a damn good job at sucking ass. You have to be awesome at sucking ass in order for people to see you as worse than EA. That's quite an impressive feat.

Makes sense. Except I don't think Ubisoft would purposely make a game bad for any reason. (This is not to be confused with graphics downgrades. That's more to do with marketing)

Ubisoft just doesn't really care enough to make any of their games very good. They spend little effort on the Wii U version of AC or Watch Dogs, and they sell poorly as a result.

So, I guess your theory is technically correct. But Ubisoft doesn't make Wii U games intentionally bad to "prove a point" or to create an excuse to not make games for it... Rather, Ubisoft just doesn't put any effort into making their Wii U ports any good, and they sell poorly due to Ubisoft's laziness, which makes them think the Wii U isn't worth investing in, and you can already see the negative feedback loop this creates.

I ... I really have no words. To think that a multi-million company needs an excuse to not develop games for a console that almost no one bothers releasing games on is... silly to me.

What exactly do they achieve by doing that as a company? I know that some of you want to think of them as EVIL but seriously it makes zero business sense. No company is willing to throw away money like that.

The only way I could entertain that idea is if Ninty had a contract with them (i.e. paid them) to develop x games for wiiu and the loophole was that if they sell less than x copies, they can stop releasing games on it and keep the money. I highly doubt that that happened.
