Despite the boosted sales of the X1 by giving them away like condoms on a college campus the X1 is still getting crushed by the PS4 week after week. X1 is putting up good numbers but we are seeing ridiculous PS4 numbers. While it does look X1 will close the gap some in the US it is not hurting PS4 sales at all and is definitely not gonna get close enough to take the lead back in the US. While the X1 may win its first NPD this year that's only one market and that's not much of a win considering what Sony is doing WW. Not saying the X1 won't be successful or sell well but unless the PS4 stops selling Sony is in position to lead this entire generation and its only one year in. Considering the domination of the PS4 do you think it will gain that last .9% to hit the 50% mark of the market share before 2015 or do you think it'll be a little bit into 2015 before it hits it. Also what do you think its highest market share will be?

Might have already happened. I mean the PS4 sold 735K last week....whathowwhowhy......It just keeps on surprising the shit out of me all the time. It might reach 30 million by years end for all I fucking know...

Lol 30 mil is a little much but yeah I get what you mean:p PS4 is doing crazy numbers if VGC is even close to being accurate. May hear an official number from Sony at the PlayStation event. I can easily see Sony hitting the 20 mil mark before 2015 at this point.

Hardcore Nintendo fanboys can't really talk smack when it comes to sales so they post things like this...kinda sad:(

This is not even Xbox one sales fault(more than enough, selling more than 360 and PS3 and those managed to avoid 50% from wii), there are basically only 2 consoles selling at the moment. With wiiU selling so little even the ONE will end up with a rather high marketshare.

This thread is off to a really poor start, unless it heads somewhere productive within the next page, there isn't much reason to keep it open.
