PS4 controller battery life is absolutely horrendous, I am only getting about 3/4 hrs play and standby time out of both of my controllers.  So I am wondering what is everyone using to charge their controllers.  I was looking into a NYCO piece and also a PS official liscenced piece to charge my remotes.  Any suggestions will be helpful.

I use my smartphone wall charger lol. The cord of the controller is so short and my tv is like 2 metres away from me so it's pretty more useful charging it from the wall and I read somewhere it's fine.

3-4 hours implies there is something wrong with your controllers. It should never be that low. Dim the controller lights in the settings for a start as that does make a difference. But I get about 8-9 hours out of mine on a full charge with vibration on and currently loads of voices coming out the speaker too (Playing GTA).

You are wrong. A giant bright flashlight on the controller is totally better than battery life.

Your controllers are probably faulty. It isn't normal to have 3 to 4 hours. Mine usually lasts 8 or 9 hours.

Well, it sure doesn't last as long as PS3 controllers... I got mine specifically to use on PC, and it's a pain to use on steam. PS3 controllers are easier to use than PS4 controllers, when it comes to set-ups and battery life...

I can't say exactly how much I'm getting from a full charge, though.

Keep in mind you should charge your controllers around 50%. Don't let them continue to charge when they're at 100%, it hurts the battery and reduces battery life.

Something is wrong with them, mine last at least 7 hours. Id say buy a new one or get a nice cord to plug into the PS4.

I agree with everybody else. Mine seem to last about 8 hours on a full charge

I use the Power A DS4 controller thing. I just bought it and have only used it once but it seems to work fine

You should return it if possible, that's quite low.
