Nobody in my house would have the ability to disagree, since it's my TV.  They can go buy their own, and at the same time, go pay for their own cable, and broadband.

that's good for you! it's actually my TV too but unlike you other people have a choice in my house. Either way I'd still keep it that way because I play PS4 for games not my PC.

Didn't say people don't have a choice, but when it's my gaming time, it's my gaming time.  We watch TV also, and play on console, but I also read when other people are using the TV for things I'm not interested in, or go outside, or do any number of other activities that I enjoy.  If they've got a problem with my PC gaming...well, as I said, they have options.

and that's great! but the vast majority of households have a console hooked up to their TV and not a PC. And I think all those people have a choice too!

And you're taking this particular subject on an unnecessary and silly tangent.  It doesn't matter what the majority does, and it doesn't matter that they have a choice.  What matters is, most people who'd hook their PC up to TV's, wouldn't just move it everytime they want to use it.  If anything, you'd just set your monitor up somewhere in the immediate vicinity so that you can switch over conveniently.

Its obvious, unless you live Alone, its annoying because its thé TV to watch TV, not only to play or go on your PC, so you will have to move it if you live with someone else, unless you dont use your PC often.

And dont tell me to buy a specific TV for m'y PC... I dont like to play on cheap TV 's... Im too much used to m'y expensive big and comfortable screen to watch TV and play. Too expensive to buy an other one like that only for a PC

That is probably thé main reason why everyone prefers to play on console

It sounds like the problem is with you, not with PC gaming. You can use a PC in the exact same fashion as either console and for the same purposes plus more. I have a cheap tower that I don't need to move around, I don't need to use a dedicated monitor and I can even use my 360 controller when I want to play platformers or the like. If I want to do work while the TV is in use I simply boot up my laptop. I spend far less in the long run and I can do so much more.

It's not just me, it's about comfort, most of the gamers legitimately think the same way : better to have a screen for your PC and a screen for your TV separated, unless you live alone and can do what you want when you want.

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

Wow those PS4 numbers are insane, I guess that's what happens when DA: I, GTA and Farcry 4 all come out on the same day/week.

Those XBO sales in Japan...ROTFL

Wow, big week for HW overall and huge for SW. PS4 WW leadership. Pokémon do their magic for 3DS SW sales, but just a decent boost for its HW.
Only negative number of the week PSV HW drop, Sony should drop its price, release some nice bundles and do better marketing for it.

Why does it matter if other people agree with you or not? I have the same options available to me when PC gaming (right down to the exact same controller) and nothing is going to change that.

FACT: PCs can be connected to HD TVs
FACT: PCs can be played using wireless controllers
FACT: PCs can be used in your living room from the confort of your couch

Your personal opinions / experiences do not change any of this. I'm really not understanding why this is so difficult.

Nate4Drake stated that "I will still prefer to play PS4 at 1080p in my living room on a comfortable sofa in front of my Samsung 55''."
and I responded that you can (and many already do) enjoy PC games in the exact same manner. My statement was factual and I'm confused why you keep talking about how most people choose to keep their PCs in seperate rooms. The preference of the average person has no baring on the fact that there is nothing stopping you from using your PC in your living room.

Fact : It's annoying for most people. It's not about personal opinion

Provide sources for having polled the majority of PC users, otherwise your personal preferences do not equal a majority (or fact).

PS.  It requires nothing more than plugging in an HDMI cable, which would mean all consoles are annoying as well.
