I'm doing this thread this early because it's far enough away that none of us have a clue as to what will actually happen (making the hypothetical ideas rather original in my opinion).
I'll post 10 in the poll that could be rather shocking.
These don't have to necessarily be entirely realistic.

Apple announcement of new ipad that is able to stream brand new Triple A games, off steam, in 1080p and 60fps to televisions. It is there version of a home console but on the go if you want.
Half Life 3 as a Wii U exclusive and the official endorsement of Wii U as a steam machine (with a massive update allowing the Wii U OS to operate as an open source copy cat version of the steam linyx OS).
Eshop expansion to PC’s (not xbox or ps).
