I thought I should spread the word since it's one of the most read articles today & apparently no one noticed it:

All is well except that's not what is on the forecast at all! The numbers are all wrong, you can click on the link provided in the article to check for yourselves.

Sony had forecast for the current fiscal year of 1,290 billion yen in sales. Now they are forecasting between 1,400 and 1,600 billion yen.

Not "a huge increase of 1.29 trillion yen" (= 1,290 billion yen), but a between 110 and 310 billion yen (= between 0.11 and 0.31 trillion yen) increase, wich is great but not what William D'Angelo is writting here.

I think a good deal of confusion is to be blamed, never the less readers should get the facts straight!

Just gonna say it btw that thing you add to the ends of all of your posts makes me cringe, would it not be better to add it to your sig? Then at least I wouldn't think you've spent the time to type it with each post.

What i mean is quite simple, the writter of the article must have confused himself quite a lot & got the numbers wrong. When you spend your day roaming hundreds of web pages & writting dozens of them, I guess it becomes easy to get confused.
Never the less since so many people in here read this article, I thought it would do a good service to them to have the numbers straight!

As for my sig, you must not be a fan of Futurama like I am, Bender is my hero! I find that character so great so I try to impersonate him a bit & repeat some of his antics: "Kill all the humans", "kiss my shiny metal *ss", calling humans "meatbags" & obviously the famous Bender dance.

Vgchartz get most things completely wrong. Recently they announced sales for a certain game and on this site the sales aren't even a quarter of what was stated for it.

Oh I think futurama is fantastic, love Bender Bending Rodrigeuz. His absolute lack of morales is fantastic how he would pretty much steal candy from a baby if he thought he could turn profit from it.

His voice spills through a good bit into Jake the Dog in Adventure time btw if you've ever seen it? Or the Rock monster in the kids cartoon Chowder.... altho the only word his voice actor says in that is Radda, he puts an odd spin to it, worth checking out at least once if you're a fan of other John DiMaggio work :)

As for your topic tho, seems right, the articles on here are indeed just done by one person tho the rest of the gold on vgchartz is found by forum members from other various sites around the net and put together down the right.

(I didn't click the youtube link in your sig btw, I very rarely would click any links to youtube in sigs... not without a rather large explanation of what the link is to around it, no offence just the way I surf my interwebs!)

You should never treat VGCharts as a 100% accurate sales page. It's more like a very accurate guess.

tis not about getting the numbers right in terms of the sales here, he was pointing out that an article just has bad maths in it. ioi (site owner) said that vgchartz tries to get numbers correct within 15% of the actual data, that is always his aim here.
