That's one bad score. Well at least you got it for half the price

Half the price, half the score, I guess?

So the exact opposite of a professional reviewer...

EDIT: Wait! That would be exactly like a professional reviewer...

You were right actually.

I love this series and I feel this one was the weakest entry. To this point there is no better SMT than Nocturne in my eyes.

I found the biggest problem with the game was the change in physical attacks and the dungeon design.

In this game physical attacks consume MP... but physical demons have low MP. On others games in the series you use HP to perform the physical skills. You weaken yourself to do damage but have a lot more health to make up for that. Big mistake from SMT IV in my opinion, it makes magic attacks vastly superior to physical attacks. In fact I docked all the points of my MC into magic, I didn't even care about physical and I beat every fight in the game without problems (even the lame final boss).

The dungeons are a cakewalk... compared to the dungeons from the earlier games (which where brutally big and complicated) these look like something from an elder scrolls game.

As for the demon negotation... it's as random as it's always been and I like it.

Overall the game was a bit of a let down but I enjoyed it!

PS: I liked your review rol, do one for Sonic Boom please!

"I've Underestimated the Horse Power from Mario Kart 8, I'll Never Doubt the WiiU's Engine Again"

I was interested in this game at the time it released for everyone else, but now I have no desire to play it.

Seems like a more punishing, and far less fun, version of Persona

Shoot son, I have this and haven't played more than a few hours of it. I'll get back to it one day.

"The most addicting tower defense game (...)"

Really? I don't think that "addicting" is a proper word.

  • Considered non-standard outside of the United States.

According to wiktionnary though. I hoped for a IGN review, i'm disappointed.

At least the announcement trailer was cool.

I'm playing it now and I will finish it only because of my perverse nature .

I have been a fan Of SMT for a long time , but the series  needs a major overhaul  .score  5.5

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

opinions... opinions...... for each head a different sentence, as my father used to say.

I personally loved the game, specially because this is the game with the best demon fusion interface I´ve ever seen in the series. It couldn´t be easier than that to know exactely what kind of demon you get and what you need to get specific demons. Streetpass also helps a lot in battles and its tags can also be used for/with Soul Hackers!

The story is kind of generic but it gets more interesting as the characters reach and start to navigate through decadent Tokyo.

My only problem with the game is the world map.... it´s really weird and confusing.

I´d give that game a score of 8.5 out of 10.
