FF XV and KH3
As long as they aren't exclusive JRPGs then the world can go back to spinning. If they are, then wtf on both ends.

Japanese not liking Xbone wouldn't be a problem for devs with an exclusivity deal. It's more likely just brand loyalty from the devs themselves
Why? So they sell 200k and become ported on another platform in 6 months?
Focus on your existing market MS, not on a niche you desire...

Why do you assume they will underperform as such? Was there any JRPG on 360 that sold 200k?

except if they use " $ " and make it exclusive. that kind of move is what i really hate from Microsoft even the games will not sales a lot on their consoles and piss a lot PS gamer. I hope it's not happen thou, one console is anough to play JRPG on the powerful platform (well 2 platform if people like Xenoblade Chronicles X and Zelda )

You don't think that it might be that devs are more interested in building/keeping a longterm fanbase instead of taking the short-term gain of an exclusivity deal to a platform where their game will most likely not do well?

Especially after what happened when a few Japanese developers accepted moneyhats from Microsoft in the early years of the 360 only to have their games bomb and them trying to recoup expenses by releasing improved versions of those games on the PS3.

When talking about AA J-RPG they want to keep their fanbase, for sure, but before anything it's an extremely loyal audience. Just look at KH spinoffs : 3 different platforms, and ~even sales on all games
