Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Studio head apologizes for Halo Master Chief Collection launch: We'll make this right with our fans

More like the Massive Queef collection. Am I right?

Less "sorry" and more "fix it" would be better...

I think gamespot did justice with their review of Halo MCC. No other sites reported this. I hope Halo 5 wont have these issues.

I followed the issues since beginning in others thread and it doesn't look that will be fixed soon... maybe some weeks yet.

Not related to MCC itself but this state of the Industry releasing games like DC, MCC, BF4, AC: Unity, etc... it is ridiculous.

So it will take even longer until the single player bugs are addressed and the splitscreen performance issues?
This title was clearly not ready for release.

So what is your thought about the problem, do you have any clue (maybe from gaf ) ?

I don't know... from the issues log seems like the online code for matchmaking is overloading the servers to the point ir stop to work... so they are decreasing the numbers of playlists, players and server features to allow more concurrent matchmaking before it stop or get longer.

Some guys will say it is not but it is really close to what happened with DriveClub... the difference can be the scale.

There must be a new gaming award for the "worse game release" and they are all competing for it. -_-

Yeah.  Its not so bad in the single player campaign.  I have finished 1 and 2 and am already well into 3 now.  No issues to be honest apart from a couple of the 57 or so achievements not unlocking.  Technically; 1 was really nice (the uprated specs are excellent), 2 was a little clunky on transition from cutscenes sometimes and 3 is really great.

It is mainly the multiplayer but I am not even into that yet and am not a big multiplayer anyway.  I did play one game and to be honest had no problem, but it is obvious there are major issues.

Good the single player works pretty well. The only reason I was thinking of buying MCC was doing the campaigns in splitscreen co-op. There were a lot of performance issues and inconsistencies reported for that for the 4 campaigns. Not sure if or when they're going to have time to fix that.

I've put my XBox One purchase on hold anyway. Already too many games to play and MS ignores Canada, just a $400 AC Unity bundle atm, the one game I for sure don't want. No $350 standalone console here either. I'll wait for the platinum Halo MCC edition, hopefully with extra disc with all the content. It's still a nice collection to have. Plus I skipped Halo 3, that campaign will be new to me.
