Dem spoilers at 1:32 doe.

Hahaha! I swear I've watched this trailer a hundred times and never noticed that. Again, it's out of context and goes too quickly to really spoil anything.

Yeah, I noticed that a lot when I looked for it. It happens later as well. If you watch the whole trailer with it in mind, you'll see it at least 2 times.

sorry, but i'll take this: http://youtu.be/9ywY4S5Q0MM anytime over what their e3 trailer was. they have to do way better to impress me.

That is a five-minute-long launch trailer.

ok than take that one for comparison: http://youtu.be/myB_6n6_lFA

my point is: shouldn't they have something way better than this by now if their story claims are true?

It doesn't really help that they have done very, very little of the localization so far, so full story trailers for the North American market would be a little premature.

maybe, 2015 will tell us more about the final product anyway. one should always remember though, the people at monolith were responsible for trailers like

this one: http://youtu.be/6eSchuTQ9A8,

this one: http://youtu.be/o7Ws6CfWQq4

and that one: http://youtu.be/_Pq6tE7UP0g.

so imso when this studio makes a trailer for something, what they claim to have a deep story, it should definitly try to live up to the examples above. a ps3 star ocean trailer should not even have the slightest chance in comparison.

Wow. I mean, there are an outrageous amount of out-of-context spoilers in there, but that one's a bit different. It shows the seventh party member. That's... pretty spoilerish, context or no.

As long as they don't have another cheesy love triangle, I think the story will be outstanding!

                                                                                                               You're Gonna Carry That Weight.

Yeah, it shows #7 twice in that form, and like 4 times out of context.

That wasn't cheesy man. That set me up so that I got hit harder when the Fallen Arm came.

There is no doubt this game will be the a great appetizer of the JRPG on current gen games before Final Fantasy XV and other great title to come in the future. :)

This game is more than a mere apetizer.

a starter then or the one who will open the door the greateness of JRPG games for the next decade

because we will see more and more great games especially JRPG on future

Unfortunately they will all be worse than Xenoblade Chronicles X, sending jrpgs back to being niche for 9th gen...

Well i am not that pesimist,  games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, Star Ocean, Persona 5, Dragon quest will coming in the future. Jrpg is always niche to NA  consumer and more popular on europe and mainstream for asian people. So as long as Nintendo and PS brand is live long enough sooner or later there will be more coming.

Actually if you go back and look at the history of sales of jrpg's  Europe is way behind NA in sales.

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

I'm sorry guys, I'm really sorry. But Xenoblade is way way way too hardcore for me.p

Sounds very deep and awesome though . But that positive is a negative for me since I know this game takes FOREVER to finish.

In the case of Xenogears though, it worked for it.  There was so much plot and narrative in Xenogears that despite it being tiring occassionally it made the game that much more special.  Well that and the characters were awesome.

In the case of Xenosaga 2 it didn't work.  The storyline was garbage.  See what I did there?

No, what did you do there?  Show us, oh great pie in the sky.  Amen.

So you didn't like Xenosaga 2 then?  Never played it myself, but wouldn't it be better to go by more recent games made by Monolith Soft to see what they're capable of?  That is, if they do a longer, deeper story?

You mentioned Xenogears, an older game they developed with a deep storyline that was actually good.  I followed up with Xenosaga 2, a game that pushed a deep storyline that was terrible.  Now you're saying time of release matters.  Fine.  Super Robot Taisen Endless Frontier?  Project X Zone?  More MonolithSoft games with some story heavy garbage.

Again.  Just because the game has a "long and deep story" doesn't mean that story is going to be entertaining.  Infact it might be downright awful.  Star Ocean the Last Hope has a trailer in this thread and that's yet another prime example of a storyline that's complete garbage.
