Yes, they did horrid things to those peaceful protestors.

and that shows what exactly? are they assualting the guy, shooting him, no?

You should know. Aren't there policies in the service (Marines or Army) about not pointing your weapons unless you're serious about firing?

Aside from the numerous anecdotes of the journalists physically threatened and arrested for no reason.

There absolutely are, which is why my friend Dylan, who's in the service finds it a very poor decision to be arming the police like the military.  They don't go through the same kinds of training, and certainly don't appear to be responsible enough to deal with such weaponry.

im pretty sure thats swat, not military. i dont know their rules, but anyway. a still picture doesnt really tell us whats going on. do those weapons have live rounds, or rubber bullets, for riots (i would think rubber bullets, i dont know though). reguardless it appears they are sweeping the streets, trying to clear it of criminals. And only one guys appears to have his weapon trained on that guy (the guy on the far right), the others have it at the ready.

but anyway in a hostile situation like that, you are are trained to always be ready, so they would completely dismiss the possible threat of anyone until they can confirm they pose none

ps: im not a grunt, but when i did go through requisite combat training, when we were tought about how to handle similar situations, like detaining possible threats, we were tought to have our weapons trained on them, until, someone searched and clreared them.

Were protesting in London aswell this night.

Idiots. This matter is not for them to protest. And look at them, all privileged no doubt, no hardships at all. "Black Lives Matter", of course they matter, all lives matter but when you step on the wrong side of the law and threaten an armed person bad things can happen to you.

Hmm, pie.

Hmm this thing seems to be bigger than I initially expected. There are WAAAASYYYYY too many people who think that this whole situation is a lie.

There are people from the Palestines acknowledging this, People from Mexico, People from Asia(either Japan, China or Korea) and I believe People in Brazil.

I wonder why so many people think that this was set up. I havn't really been following this but I'm seeing a lot of sh!t on social media like Tumblr and other sites.

Also what do you all think about this?

...whatever

as with the UK riots a few years ago, while some are doing it out of emotion, many will be "aggressively protesting" without really caring for the cause and instead abusing it as an opportunity to run amock / destroy property / loot, etc.

u mean the student riots or the race riots?

Pretty much all riots.

well, normaly the people dont loot or burn down businesses(well banks burn, but thats something different) in riots. they throw things at police men, burn down police cars, etc.

political riots dont destroy much of the city normaly.

I find a few parallels with like the London riots that spread across the country here. They were pretty much purely driven by looting and burning buildings down. Tottenham was merely an excuse for it in most of the country. The poor police response to the initial looting is what led to it spreading, sadly it was absolutely nothing to do with what the initial protest was about.

It seems to me the same is happening over this. I absolutely understand why there is so much anger, I was actually really taken aback as to how overtly racist some people are in St Louis. Last time I was over there in October, routine ticket inspections on the metro were grabbing tickets off black people and inspecting them really closely, whilst my own ticket was barely even glanced at.  And I also had to wonder why the hell someone inspecting tickets needed a holster with more equipment than your average bank robber would use here in the UK. Not only was there a pistol, but also a taser, pepper spray, truncheon as well as the radio etc.

All this for a $5 metro ride?! Seriously!?

I'm actually disgusted they're protesting in London, but everything going on in the world seems to have a protest in London. What exactly are they trying to achieve protesting there? It's nothing to do with our government. It's nothing to do with our police (though there is plenty they could be protesting about regarding some incidents in our police force) and regardless of who is in the right/wrong (probably both) with regards to what down in Ferguson, it has absolutely nothing to do with us and is a completely domestic matter for the US.

There are far greater causes their efforts could be focussed on.

There's a hell of a lot of fabrication going on ,and the fact that people will accept anything they see on Social Media as a fact if it supports their point of view means it's going to be very difficult in the future to ever get an accurate idea of what has happened in anything, particularly if it's polarising and emotive.

However, doesn't this say 11:53?
