That's a really nice bundle and would be very tempting for me if I didn't already have the system. Though we need to remember $480 in American monies.

In reality, it's £30 cheaper than an Xbox One with 2 games like Advanced Warfare and FIFA 15.

Why don't they just drop the bag and make it available for something like 250 pounds? They're really hindering their sales potential by keeping the price of entry so high still

Because other 2 game bundles are still around 280-290 pounds.  So not only does that make the pro controller cheaper than normal, it means the amiibo and bag are practically free in the deal.

Yeah but my point is, ultimately, that Nintendo's refusal to drop the price of entry (instead of just bundling random things with it) is hindering sales. The only reason Sony do it with PS4 is because it's a sales monster. MS had to drop the price of entry AND bundle games and they showed that it worked. This Nintendo bundle just guarantees continued low sales in the UK imo

eh, if it was about boosting sales then it would be a bundle at a big retailer, not the Nintendo store, tbh I didn't even know there was a Nintendo store in the UK. This seems more like giving a special offer to Nintendo fans rather than just trying to boost sales.

I'm just talking about Nintendo's strategy this gen in general.
