These comparisons are a joke. I only saw like 1 minor frame drop in the whole video (PS4) and they make it sound like its a big deal Oh well, got to get them hits somehow.

They need to find reasons to continue to write these articles, in a fucking 5 minutes video framerate droped in one explosion on ps4 version and these idiots tell us xbox have better framerate because of one or 2 drops  lol

then some people act like its the best acomplish ever made xD

A couple of drops in 5 minutes equals, say 10 frames lost out of 9000 frames, 0.1% pixels lost, vs 25% pixels lost. Yup that tiny drop during an explosion is definitely worse than upscaling. At least they have caught on that upscaling isn't great and are keeping the vertical axis native.

Coming from the same guys who wrote three separate articles on those GTA V comparison(s), this doesn't surprise me very much at all.

Basically better graphics on PS4, smoother fps on Xbox One.

I'll take the x1 version please

Both framerates are extremely solid from what I noticed, both at an extremely stable 30fps, and (on the rare occasion the framerate does drop) they both drop the same amount. Thankfully, we're not talking about AC Unity here. The resolution gap and difference in AA is more significant (in my opinion) than the rare and small frame drops on both.

Regardless, I'd prefer the PC version, at 60fps... Oh wait, I don't have SLi GTX 980s, so that isn't possible. Thanks Ubisoft!

you don't need SLI-GTX 980's. At 1080p you need 1 970 GTX to get an average of 80 FPS on Ultra.

Though it stutters, currently. Which is bad.

it can stutter on a 980 too.

Yup, TotalBiscuit has SLI 980's and his game had stuttering.

They're out to make it seem like PS4 doesn't have a clear advantage. 1-2 noticeable frame/s  per second shouldn't be considered a sacrifice for such a huge difference in resolution.

Slightly better graphics 100% of the time vs slightly better fps 0.1% of the time. Decisions, decisions.

Or to look at it another way:

PS4 can't achieve a locked 30fps at 1920x1080p, that's a shame. But Xb one can't even manage it at 1440x1080p, that's shameful. Xb one is rendering 25% fewer pixels per frame and still can't manage a locked 30fps. And in terms of pixel count 1440x1080 is a lower output than 900p (900p is only 17% fewer pixels than full 1080p).

Just buy it for whatever console you have, lol.

Unless you have a PC... then you're just screwed.
