When I saw the title I guessed who wroted thread...!New 3ds is the answer to all,even for the decline before the announcement,nintendo delayed the revision a lot.A revision comes to boost sales like all revisions of Nintendo!Lets wait for 2015 to see how 3ds compares to dsi...!
Thanks to new 3ds,is possible for 3ds to have similar sales with those of 2011,2012 and 2013 if not have an big increasment,which is good!
If nintendo hadn't release new 3ds this year in Japan,3ds would be lower!Now it compares to its peak year in Japan(2013), and why not the same happens in USA/EU in 2015...!

Crazy isn't it? Nintendo could not keep momentum going with the 3DS. Just another casualty of mobile gaming. Makes you wonder how Nintendo's next handheld will perform if smartphones continue to grow stronger. Maybe a 50m lifetime seller. I think Nintendo should just start creating their own line of tablets and try to combine the mobile and handheld markets.

That said it'll help maintain its life. Also N3DS>>3DS>>>>>2DS.

Probably about the same as the PSP in 2008. 

Beyond that though the 3DS already has a pretty great back catalog of games. 


why are you comparing 3DS with the PSP?

I never understood the appeal of the 2DS. Not many children will actualy buy one instead of a tablet.

dude. ive NEVER seen anyone with a 2ds and i live in NYC. ive seen every other kind of 3ds sku but that one.

Huh. Well, I must be one of the only people with a 2DS.
