Is TP the worst of the main 3D Zelda?

Yes 111 20.33%

From the main serie, not counting the two 3D episodes on DS.

I think it is, and my reasons are:

1) Boring wolf phases, really boring and useless, it added nothing and felt like something forced. The games would have been better without these parts. Searching and collecting bugs as a wolf was one of the most boring part of any Zelda game. Really unnecessary.

2) Average motion controls, for the Wii version, the motion control was playable, but nothing special and never felt you really had any real control over Link. It's a huge contrast with Skyward Sword and its great motion controls with the Wii motion+, where everything was so natural and felt so smooth.

3) World/settings: I felt the World of Twilight Princess wasn't  as unique and coherent as the others Zelda games. The Hyrule part felt like Ocarina of Time, but the Twilightworld was cartoonish. Both styles did not merge well together and it felt really strange to me seeing Midona so much in the adventure.

For these reasons I think that Twilight Princess fall behind all the others 3D Zelda games , Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker and Skyward Sword. It's still a great game with a spectacular staging though.

I thought it was really good, I loved the darker tone.

Skyward Sword takes that honor for me

It was a stronger entry IMO. Dungeons were great, lots to explore, horse combat was great, and the Wolf mode was particularly fun when you could switch between it and human at will, making puzzles and combat much more engaging.

Skyward Sword was a much weaker entry IMO, with the rest also being fantastic.

Of course TP was a great game overall, all the main Zelda are, really. But there are details and defaults we can talk to see where the serie is going and to discuss what we hope for the next game. Attempting to copy OOT too much was a mistake I thinkn eventhough it was well executed. But Wolf Link shouldn't have happenned, especially with how he was played.

Strongly disagree. To me, Skyward Sword was superior in almost every level. It did not have a gimmick (Wolf), had a combat system much more developped with motion controls, where you had to really make the right move and had more interesting puzzles and worlds to see. Twilight Princess is spectacular with horse combat and all the staging, but it doesn't have the "magic touch' that SS has. TP felt more like a blockbuster, with less innovations.

My favorite Zelda, and I loved the wolf parts because the atmosphere was so dark and amazing.

Nah, that award would go to OoT...

I don't think it copied OOT too much, it had its own seperate feel.  It was way darker than OOT and was the first Zelda to introduce motion controls, ofc they ironed out some kinks the second time around but I can appreciate what they were trying to do on their first try.  Also I enjoyed wolf link, it added a nice change and I really liked the integration in the last boss fight.

You talk about those collecting bug parts as wolf link boring, if I remembering the right thing, that was not required, where as collecting the tears in skyword sword was required, and tbh I was not a big fan of that.  Not saying Skyword Sword was bad, it had my favorite cutscene in all the Zelda games.
